JHEWEL FELIPE

Born and raised on the Windward side of Oahu, Jhewel graduated as Kailua High School’s Valedictorian. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and double-minored in Business Management & Leadership and Social Media Marketing from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois in 2017.

After graduation, Jhewel returned home and began working full-time with KITV4 Island News, where she found a passion for helping her community, providing the latest news and updates. Over the years, she has worked at KITV4 Island News, Aloha Stadium, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, 6 Pillars Marketing, Da Crew Production & Engineering Group, Bellows Air Force Station, Hawaii State Senate and the State of Hawaii Department of Defense Public Affairs Office.

Wherever Jhewel works, she strives to use her skills to be involved in the community and create a positive difference. Jhewel hungers for growth and finds the challenge of wearing multiple hats a thrilling experience in her career.
